  • Workforce Monitoring & Surveillances for Occupational Health – e.g. Noise, Skin, Heat Stress, Respiratory Function, Hand Arm Vibration, Mental Health
  • Workforce Monitoring / Screening for Controlled Substances / Alcohol / Medications /Pre-Employment or Random
  • Point of Contact for shift workers seeking advice with Occupational Health Problems
  • Designate and Monitor all First Aid / Medical locations, Equipment Advice, Procurement& Maintenance. Supporting Procedures, Drills and Review
  • First Aid Risk Assessments; Surface Site, Tunnel, TBM, Safety Critical Tasks, Equipment Advice, Procurement & Maintenance. Supporting Procedures, Drills and Review
  • Provide Advanced First Aid / Primary Care Presence on site at all times

 

 

 

Tunnel Safety Supports

  • Emergency Rescue and Response Review – Desk Top Exercise / Site Drills
  • Liaison and Coordination with all Emergency Services (Fire, Ambulance, Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), (Police) ensure best practice and integration within their systems.
  • Gas Detection Systems, Alarms & Atmospheric Monitoring; TBM and Tunnel, Equipment Advice, Procurement & Maintenance. Supporting Procedures, Drills and Review.
  • Establish & Maintain Supporting Committee Forum for relevant area of support; ensure related reporting, actions, closure and recording, provide “Readiness Reviews”
(In some circumstances TRHA can directly provide Tunnel Emergency Response / Confined Space Rescue Teams. This may be as a standalone service or in conjunction with other supports for the same location. It would include either direct provision of the required support equipment or assistance to procure it; and by default include advice on the required level(s) of cover and support with related planning.)
